Bryan’s trips have taken him from the Appalachians to the Alps, Canadian icefields to Iceland treks, the remote Alaska wilderness and the Wind River’s high route. Through it all he’s learned some lessons, tested some gear, and found tips to make the most out of enjoying the backcountry.

“Over my spring break, I had the amazing opportunity to take a trip to Red Rocks, Nevada with my dad and Luke! It was my first time seeing the landscapes that the western U.S. has to offer, and I was blown away. Of course, we also did a lot of climbing! I almost tripled the number of routes I’ve done outside across the five days of climbing we had.

We did a mix of single‑pitch sport and trad routes, along with some multi‑pitch sport and trad routes, which were new for me. Where Red River Gorge offers a lot of overhung routes, I was happy that Red Rocks offered some great slab climbs that rely more on balance and footwork, something I really enjoy while climbing.

Although we were dealing with some record‑breaking heat, we were still able to find plenty of shady climbs, which even led us to one of our favorite crags of the trip: Cactus Corridor and Jabba the Hut Rock, which, along with being shaded, also offer some great climbs! I’m so grateful I was able to go on this trip, and if anyone wants to ask me anything about my experience there, feel free to stop me when you see me at the gym!“

Community Breathwork for Mental and Physical Performance & Recovery

Join us Sunday, April 19th from 8:30 - 9:30 A for a guided AnooWay Breathwork experience designed to support both your physical performance and mental resilience. Hosted in the unique environment of our premier climbing facility, this session offers a powerful opportunity to reset your nervous system, release tension stored in the body, and access a deeper level of focus and presence.

We’ll begin with gentle grounding and guided awareness, followed by an active breathwork practice to help clear stress, improve oxygen utilization, and enhance mind-body connection. You’ll then be guided through an integrative meditation to support recovery, clarity, and a sense of calm strength.

Day four of our winter Boulder League recap features Chris Lynch! Chris is a passionate outdoor advocate and educator currently juggling graduate school with multiple professional careers. Somehow he still manages to maintain a steady presence and contributes a much needed sense of calm to the setting team. Chris is also a talented musician, further highlighting his natural creative nature. We were psyched to have him collaborate with us on this iteration of league!

Day four of our winter Boulder League recap features Chris Lynch! Chris is a passionate outdoor advocate and educator currently juggling graduate school with multiple professional careers. Somehow he still manages to maintain a steady presence and contributes a much needed sense of calm to the setting team. Chris is also a talented musician, further highlighting his natural creative nature. We were psyched to have him collaborate with us on this iteration of league!

On this third day of our winter Boulder League recap, we have Samuel! Samuel has grown so, so much during his years at Mosaic. He now acts as the lead of the setting program, facilitating collaboration amongst team members and organizing the entire setting process.

Samuel and Luke were the two staff responsible for coaching participants during league. In order to manage work load and fatigue, they were supposed to alternate league nights and come in a bit later on days they would be facilitating. In spite of my best efforts, neither of them could stay away and insisted on being the first to arrive to strip in the morning and the last to leave each night. Cannot thank them enough! 🥰

If she’s not at the gym she loves to hike, read, watch shows and movies, and play games. Recently she’s been really into lino stamping! She has 2 dogs that she loves very much! She also really enjoys throwing parties and having friends over. If you ever see her around the gym, say hi, you might get an invite to a party!

Here’s her advice for new climbers “Do the climbs that make you feel good. Try your best and forget the rest. There are days where I just want to climb easy routes and days where I challenge myself. You probably wont keep with it unless you are having fun.”

Cami has been a Mosaic member for 2 1/2 years! You can typically find her in the ropes room on the lead wall. As you can see, she does have a sprained ankle right now, so the only place you’ll be seeing her is in the fitness room. Hopefully she’ll be back on the wall soon!

Cami says her favorite part of climbing at Mosaic is the community. She says she can always walk in the ropes room and find someone to give her a catch. She says that’s because everyone is so friendly and nice and willing to meet new people! Her current project outside is The Fury in Muir Valley. She likes this climb because it reminds her of the lead walls here at Mosaic!

Overall, Cami considers herself a hybrid athlete. She describe that as “trying a lot of sports and being mediocre at all of them”. Well, we think Cami is anything but mediocre! She likes to try it lots of different activities including climbing, running, snow boarding, yoga, hiking, paddle boarding, and scuba diving!

If you see Cami around the gym, don’t forget to say hi!

In anticipation, we will be hosting a summer camp open house on Tuesday, February 17th from 4-6p where families will be able to meet instructors, sample our offerings, and receive a $35 campers discount!

I was first introduced to Dr. Jordan August while listening to one of my favorite podcasts, Science for Sport. When I clicked through to access his website, I was psyched to learn that he is located right here in the Loveland area! I reached out right away for a meet-and-greet and to see if he would be interested in engaging with our community base.

Jordan August is a physical therapist with over a decade of experience working with youth through elite level athletes, as well as active adults. His treatment approach blends manual therapy with strength & conditioning principles to bridge the gap between rehab and performance to get clients back doing what they love.

I was first introduced to Dr. Jordan August while listening to one of my favorite podcasts, Science for Sport. When I clicked through to access his website, I was psyched to learn that he is located right here in the Loveland area! I reached out right away for a meet-and-greet and to see if he would be interested in engaging with our community base.

Jordan August is a physical therapist with over a decade of experience working with youth through elite level athletes, as well as active adults. His treatment approach blends manual therapy with strength & conditioning principles to bridge the gap between rehab and performance to get clients back doing what they love.
