LEF Climbing is an owner, developer, and operator of premier climbing and fitness facilities. We offer an engaging experience to customers and employees by focusing on reinventing what other gyms do poorly. With a special focus on social opportunity and creative delivery of the climbing product, we’re introducing our customers to the future.
LEF Climbing and Mosaic Climbing were founded by Chris and Nicole, a married couple tired of the inability to make a career out of the outdoor industry and frustrated with the products offered by other gyms. Their goals in starting a group of climbing facilities included creating more attractive opportunities for men and women to work full-time in the climbing industry, opening up a space where climbers of all ages and skill levels felt like they had a say in how the facility functioned, and becoming a positive impetus for growth and progression in their local communities. Chris and Nicole prioritize daily connections with staff and customers and subsequent reactions to staff and customer desires. They expect staff to embrace authority and autonomy, to show empathy and support for coworkers and customers, and to bring forth solutions instead of problems. Nicole and Chris understand that their staff ultimately guide the business, and thus they prize staff happiness and satisfaction. The LEF and Mosaic brands both financially and emotionally support staff’s efforts to seek ongoing learning opportunities, climb consistently outside, and implement their own ideas for the business. Mosaic and LEF Climbing are looking for career oriented people to help build a highly desirable environment for employees as well as facilitate an open, welcoming, and reactive community for climbers.
Mosaic Climbing is located on the Western periphery of Loveland, OH near the intersection of I-71 and I-275. Loveland is a small, charming suburb of Cincinnati anchored by a historic downtown and a love of the outdoors. Popular activities in the outdoors include paddle sport on the Little Miami River, hikes (Loveland is a Buckeye Trail Town), or a leisurely bike ride on the Loveland Bike Trail section of the 70 mile Little Miami State Park. If you’re looking to get out and climb, the best destinations are close by. 2 hours will get you climbing in the Red River Gorge, or 4 will bring you to the New River Gorge.
Cincinnati is a rapidly growing economy with a low cost of living. Entertainment options are plentiful, food is delicious, and the early German immigration resulted in wonderful architecture and great beer! The city is a stable economy that respects design and is buttressed by major businesses.
