Mosaic’s Director of Customer Experience will be responsible for continuity between the Mosaic brand and the customer experience. Responsibilities will include listening to and supporting customers and membership staff, and marketing Mosaic Climbing in a way that connects with our ideal customer. The Director of Customer Experience will be asked to schedule member and staff appreciation events as well as large scale events that promote climbing and our outdoor resources. This staff member should be an excellent listener and salesman capable of selling and marketing the Mosaic Climbing experience. Marketing, sales, and media generation experience required.

  • Train membership staff on how to cultivate the Mosaic experience and interact with customers
  • Look for new members, generate leads, sell memberships, and continue to foster relationships for member referrals
  • Schedule groups, team building events, and parties, and be involved with how these programs operate
  • Seek out corporate memberships and events
  • Create and manage monthly newsletters to inform members of events and promotions
  • Manage Mosaic website
  • Manage all Mosaic social media channels
  • Work independently to create compelling, long-term marketing campaign for Mosaic Climbing
  • Schedule and attend regular events on behalf of Mosaic Climbing
  • Develop new events, programs, and promotions to generate excitement around and awareness of the Mosaic Climbing brand
  • Create print and digital media to promote Mosaic Climbing events and programs
  • Organize and advertise large scale events at Mosaic Climbing


  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification
  • BA or BS degree from accredited four year college
  • Minimum 1 year management experience
  • Minimum climbing skill level of V3 and 5.10
  • Minimum 3 years climbing experience, including lead climbing and bouldering
  • Minimum 1 year marketing and event planning experience
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Display strong organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively use one on one sales closing techniques
  • Ability to keep accurate records and make reports
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Physical strength and manual dexterity required
